What to bring:
Bring a small towel and a bottle of water. Hydration is key! Feel free to wear your Fitbit or Apple Watch to clock in those steps. Expect to clock in at least 5000 steps or more in this class!
Danz’Avenue is located in Kampong Bahru. The Kampong Bahru brings about a nostalgic feeling as the studio is located on the second floor of a shop house. Classes are sometimes held on the rooftop if the weather is favourable. It’s 5 minutes away from Outram MRT and there is street parking available. Walk behind the shophouse and you will find Instagram worthy houses.
What to expect:
In this high energy class, get ready to be transported to Africa. Dance to modern African Dance styles including afrobeats. Steps will be broken down to easy-to-follow, repetitive movements with music that will immediately get you grooving.
Jeevi who has been dancing since the age of 4 and growing up as an introvert shares that dance gave her an opportunity to connect with people, get out of her comfort zone and push her boundaries.
What to wear:
Comfortable workout wear. Shoes are important. There is a changing and washroom available.
